Oak Forest is where King started in 1968, and our Tin Man still stands on the roof at 159th & Cicero. Heating and cooling service for our hometown, 24/7.
Jack King founded King Heating at the corner of 159th Street and Cicero Avenue in 1968. Our headquarters is still there, at 4813 W. 159th Street.
The goal hasn't changed: quality service at a fair price. When you call from Oak Forest, your technician is coming from just down the road, not across the county.
We repair, maintain and install furnaces, boilers, air conditioners and heat pumps for Oak Forest homes and businesses. For plumbing, see Oak Forest plumbing.

Oak Forest grew from 3,724 people in 1960 to 19,271 in 1970, and most of its homes date from that boom and the two decades after. That shapes the heating and cooling work we do here.
In a house from the '60s or '70s, the furnace may be on its second or third replacement while the ductwork is still original. Before we install a new furnace or air conditioner, we check that the ducts can carry the air the new system needs.
Oak Forest is mostly surrounded by Cook County Forest Preserves. Leaves, seeds and pollen collect on outdoor AC units near the trees, so a spring AC tune-up that cleans the condenser pays off, and your air filter needs checking more often.
A furnace more than 10 years old may be nearing the end of its life. A fall furnace tune-up tells you where yours stands, and whether it's worth repairing, before the first cold night.
We've been at 159th & Cicero since 1968. When the furnace quits or the AC stops cooling, your technician is already in town.
Repairs, tune-ups and new systems, all from the team down the street.
If your furnace stops working this winter, call. We'll send a tech out, 24/7.

AC installation
Jack King starts a heating service at 159th & Cicero, known from day one for quality work and customer care.
The Tin Man is installed on the roof and quickly becomes a local landmark.
Tim Willson buys the business. His sons Luke and TJ join the company in 2014.
A local ordinance forces the Tin Man off the roof.
After a legal judgment, the Tin Man is restored to the rooftop, where he still stands today.
When it's time to replace, we install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers and ductless mini-splits, gas and electric. Carrier stands behind our work and our technicians.
