After 32 years our HVAC system was on its last leg. Called King and sales representative Jason gave us options on the various carrier models. After reviewing quotes from other HVAC companies I realized King’s pricing was reasonable. What sold me was the fact that he could have a crew within days installing the system. True to his word they showed up three days later to install it. The technicians that arrived were very knowledgeable and professional. They installed it the same day cleaned up afterwards and made sure both the air conditioner and furnace worked flawlessly. Thank you Jason, Ashraf and Enrique.

Like many American cities, many neighborhoods in and around Chicago struggle with poor water quality. Given the age of municipal pipes, lead contamination is particularly concerning. A 2018 Chicago Tribune report found that 30% of sampled homes had lead levels above 5 parts-per-billion. Health care professionals and researchers agree: there is no such thing as ‘safe’ levels of lead exposure. Lead can make adults sick and impair the proper growth and development of children.

Most lead is delivered to the home through aging, lead service lines. Cities are slowly replacing these lines, but experts advise homeowners take steps to protect their drinking water until this transition is complete. Their recommendation: drinking water filtration systems.
