King Heating and cooling has always been my first choice for service and their technicians continue to NOT disappoint. Cole from King Heating and cooling was my technician to service my air conditioner that stopped working on a hot day temperature approaching 88 degrees. I thought i would not be able to get the HVAC woking again becase of price . I was extremely pleased with his service. He offered suggestions that he felt would work for me after our conversation of my concerns and pricing was competitive. He also made suggestion of added services based on his review of my HVAC that would help with the performance of my unit. Thanks Cole!!! Thanks also to management for your customer service.

The two men that came I forgot there name but they came Friday the 29th of may 2026 and they were so professional they came about 9am in the morning it was a all day job but I was getting new a/c unit put in they were so neat and clean it doesn't look like no one was ever there installing I didn't here noise no banging or anything they were very pleasant quiet people my 2 dogs were not even barking and they were right there in the area in there cages were the gentlemen were working the a/c is quiet very neice looking and I like the gravel they set the unit on because they say it's something new so they can always adjust the unit instead of it sitting on concrete and I also like how they drilled small holes not those big one overall I'm a very happy satisfied customer and they did my duct work in my house before I brought it that's what made me call them for an a/c unit because I saw there sticker on the furnace and so how beautiful and neat there duct work was so call king for your home services they won't disappoint and shout out to the sales man who came a couple days before for the financial part first he was also very professional patient and also search to help get me finance and did one again thanks king for your wonderful services 👍🏼

Like many American cities, many neighborhoods in and around Chicago struggle with poor water quality. Given the age of municipal pipes, lead contamination is particularly concerning. A 2018 Chicago Tribune report found that 30% of sampled homes had lead levels above 5 parts-per-billion. Health care professionals and researchers agree: there is no such thing as ‘safe’ levels of lead exposure. Lead can make adults sick and impair the proper growth and development of children.

Most lead is delivered to the home through aging, lead service lines. Cities are slowly replacing these lines, but experts advise homeowners take steps to protect their drinking water until this transition is complete. Their recommendation: drinking water filtration systems.
