After a very frustrating experience with another company, King Heating was a complete breath of fresh air.

From the start, they were extremely attentive and took the time to actually listen to my concerns and explain what was going on with my system. I never felt rushed or pressured — they made sure I understood everything before moving forward.

They came out the very next day, and because of their attention to detail, I learned that a permit was required — something that should have been caught from the beginning and was never mentioned by the previous company. That alone spoke volumes about their professionalism and integrity.

What really stood out to me was their character. They had every opportunity to speak negatively about the previous company, but they didn’t. They stayed professional, focused on the facts, and on helping me make the right decision.

On top of that, they were more affordable while providing better service, clearer explanations, and full transparency. I honestly wish I had called King Heating first. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, knowledgeable, and reliable HVAC service.

I called King Heating and Cooling @ 5:30 am on February 10th 2026.My furnace sensor would ignite the furnace burner. The burner would cut off. It happened on 3 separate occasions in 15 min period. King heating and cooling called me back to let me know some one will be today.To service me mid morning or afternoon
I rcvd a called From the Service technician (Mr Ken J.) At 930 am Today. Stating he will arrive to my house in 20 to 25 minutes. Upon his arrival I explained to him the problem. He proceeded to check and diagnose my problem. Made the necessary repair. Checked to make sure the job was done correct, the furnace was working. . He has 40 yrs of experience. I am very pleased. Very knowledgeable and experienced. He proceeded to teach me on how my furnace needs to perform.

Like many American cities, many neighborhoods in and around Chicago struggle with poor water quality. Given the age of municipal pipes, lead contamination is particularly concerning. A 2018 Chicago Tribune report found that 30% of sampled homes had lead levels above 5 parts-per-billion.
