After having a horrible experience with Four Seasons I called King Heating and the moment Tyler walked in my house he was very polite and professional. I explained the issues and he immediately began to work his magic and fixed my air humidifier within 1 hour. Then he informed me about the service special of the furnace/AC unit and I said let's do it. Thank God we did that because there was a burner that was a problem and again within the hour he fixed that too. I can tell Tyler took his job seriously and I appreciate the honesty in his work. Like many American cities, many neighborhoods in and around Chicago struggle with poor water quality. Given the age of municipal pipes, lead contamination is particularly concerning. A 2018 Chicago Tribune report found that 30% of sampled homes had lead levels above 5 parts-per-billion. Health care professionals and researchers agree: there is no such thing as ‘safe’ levels of lead exposure. Lead can make adults sick and impair the proper growth and development of children.

Most lead is delivered to the home through aging, lead service lines. Cities are slowly replacing these lines, but experts advise homeowners take steps to protect their drinking water until this transition is complete. Their recommendation: drinking water filtration systems.
